Product Descrition：

BOSIL-999, HEXAMETHYLDISILAZANE, a mono functional group silane produced by Hubei BlueSky New Material Inc., is widely used for surface treatment to enhance hydrophobicity, and as an intermediate in pharmaceuticals. Corresponding code is Z-6079 for DOW, HMDS-3 for Shin-Estu, A-166 for Momentive and HMDS for Evonik.

Product Applications

·Used for special organic synthesis. It’s silylanizing in the synthesis processes of amikacin, penicillin, cephalosporin, fluoroquinolone, and various penicillin derivatives.  

·Used as a structural controlling agent for silicone rubber. Added to alkoxy RTV-1 silicone rubber to improve its storage stability and other properties.

·Used for surface treatment of mineral powders, glass fibers, diatomaceous earth, white carbon black, titanium dioxide and other powders.

·Used as a bonding agent in the semiconductor industry for photo-induced etching machines.

·Used for chlorine exchange with chlorosilane monomers to obtain polysilicon nitride in organosilicon nitrogen chemistry, this method has significant advantage over direct ammonia process in synthesis.  

·Used as an additive for silicon carbide fibers to improve their heat resistance and strength.

·Used as an anti-settling agent in coatings, and for the preparation of organosilicon compounds.
